Summer is half over and you wouldn't believe what I've done!

Hi,
I'm busy, busy, busy! I got back from Bolivia about two weeks ago and it's taken this long to really fully process my trip. It was AMAZING! I loved every second of it and they had to drag me back on the plane at the end of it.

You know, despite the pollution, the dryness, the challenging toilets, grinding poverty, the people are fantastic! They are simply the friendliest I've ever met, and their faith in God is incredible. I've never known such strength and love.

These people have nothing but they can still smile, kiss your cheek and tell you "God loves you very much!" It was humbling, touching, simply wonderful. I would return in a heartbeat. I've vacationed in some of the most beautiful places on earth, doing nothing but sitting in the sun by the pool or beach, and I would give all that up for another trip to the poorest country in the Americas to help build another church or play with young children who have nothing.

AND!! About a week before I was due to go to Bolivia, I got a call from my editor. They want to buy my Love Inspired Suspense story. It's a Christian suspense story about a woman who has just escaped from a cult, only to be asked to go back into it to save another woman's life. It's called DESPERATE RESCUE, due out Sept 07.

I'm going to try to get some pics of my mission trip and all the fun we had, onto my website, so stay tuned to it. Plus, my brother has promised me a website overhaul, too, so keep an eye for that, too.
