ANTI CABIN FEVER (and an un-recommendation for a good book)

Everyone seems to be suffering from cabin fever. My SIL called today to ask if I planned to go into town today. Said they were all suffering from cabin fever.
Not me. I am beginning to hide even closer in to my home. I don't want to leave. I don't want the kids to go back to school. I want us all to bundle in here and be quiet as a family of mice.
I'm not normal.
But I like writing. I like being snowbound with my Alphasmart and a good book. We've already lost power for 36 hours this winter, and it's been cold, but I like bundling up and snuggling down and hibernating.
My brother lives in Australia and likes to be out and about. It's raging hot in Sydney, he says, up to 40 degrees. I'd be forced out to a mall for cooler air.
Nope. I love summer, but I love the quiet nights in winter when I can write and read and go to sleep.
No cabin fever here.

This one involves my current read. I don't agree with the reviews, not completely, but you can peek into what's holding my attention right now.

Unless you're grounded in your personal faith, esp those of you who are Jewish or Christian, I don't recommend this book. It's a great read, but the author, in my opinion, does a disservice to both great faiths.
